The Memphis LSU Alumni Chapter gives two $1,000.00 scholarships annually to students from the Memphis area attending Louisiana State University.
The Jan Moore Memorial Scholarship of $1,000, $500 per semester, is awarded annually to an area freshman enrolling at LSU for the first time.
The Joe Olivere Memorial Scholarship is a $1,000 award granted to a student from the Memphis area enrolled as an upperclassman at LSU.
The chapter has raised over $70,000 to support these scholarships, and the funds are on deposit with the LSU Alumni office in Baton Rouge.
