About Us
Organized in 1987, the LSU Memphis Alumni Chapter celebrates 20 years of bringing together alumni and friends of LSU. Members represent LSU graduating classes from the 1940s into the new millennium, parents of LSU students then and now, die-hard fans, and friends who enjoy the food and fun our members generate.Membership is open to all LSU alulmni and firends of LSU residing in the greater Memphis area, including counties in West Tennessee, North Mississippi and Eastern Arkansas.
There is something for everyone throughout the year at LSU Memphis social events. Activities include TV view-ins for football and basketball at member homes and local pubs, bus trips to football games, promoting LSU to students during local college recruitment events, member Christmas Party, Krewe of Roux Mardi Gras Party benefitting the LSU Memphis Scholarship Fund, trips to basketball and baseball games, and the ever popular spring crawfish boil.
The membership year runs from June 1 to May 31, but you may join any time. For $25 per year, the entire family can become a part of this group with roots in Louisiana culture. Dues-paying members receive notice of all social events, member discounts news about the latest happenings at LSU, and a chapter newsletter published quarterly newsletter. So keep up with the events, and meet a new circle of friends. We encourage you to join our email list.
